Our award-winning Design Team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Designer to help define the future of financial independence. The Design Team works across the entire company — contributing to the HelloWallet brand, from digital product design experience cross platforms to interactive marketing experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end experiences across HelloWallet’s branded products (web, mobile, marketing site) delivering compelling online solutions.
- Solve problems through storytelling.
- Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions.
- Be well versed in a variety of design skills, from creating rough concept sketches to interaction design.
- Strategize concept delivery.
- Create high-end intuitive design systems for HelloWallet products and brand.
- Evolve the HelloWallet brand experience, and create cohesive visual designs that are on-brand and design style.
- Design high-quality graphics that convey a compelling conceptual message through visual representation.
- Create beautiful and meaningful infographics and visualizations.
- Communicate concepts to key stakeholders and internal clients.
- Manage and foster relationships with internal clients.
- Work in an interactive design process with minimal documentation.
- Serve as a brand champion within HelloWallet.
- Promote best practices and be able to effectively mentor fellow designers.
- Work closely with visual, and UX designers, along with daily interactions with product managers and engineers.
- A minimum of 6-8 years of design related experience with an emphasis on products.
- A self starter.
- Ability to think up ideas beyond the first.
- Experience designing products on a variety of platforms (desktop, mobile).
- A strong digital portfolio that exemplifies your process and experience (required for consideration).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and multi-skilled in various aspects of visual design (branding systems, style guide, user interface).
- Excellent understanding of web and product design principles.
- Ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change, shifting priorities, and multiple projects.
- Communicate concepts and solutions effectively.
- Passion for design, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with enthusiasm and determination.
- Excellent understanding of design fundamentals: color theory, typography, scale, hierarchy, composition, design trends.
- Curiosity for new technologies.
- An advocate for the user.
- Fluent in standard interactive design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- A degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design is preferred.
Experience with wireframe, prototyping, interaction or UI design for web and mobile apps.
