Samasource is a social enterprise that connects marginalized people in nine countries to work via the Internet. Samasource's engineering team builds systems that will take our model to scale. We need a scary-smart lead developer to expand this effort.
As a core team member, you will have a significant say not only in how we build something but also what is built. You will report directly to our CEO.
Specifically, we are looking for:
* Expert-level facility in Ruby on Rails
* Familiarity with MySQL, Capistrano, Redis, memcache, NewRelic a plus
* Experience with SMS gateways a plus
