We have 9 major museum clients in California that see a total of 2.3 million annual visitors. Have you ever used an audio tour at a museum? They're really, really outdated. Our current product and vision includes social networking integration, interactive content production, games, and other cool stuff that can make a museum visit much more fun. Our clients include the Crocker Art Museum, the California Science Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, the San Diego Natural History Museum, UCLA, and more.
We are a young company (a little over 1 year) with a team of 15; venture funded and starting to generate revenue. We acquired clients at a rate of 1 museum every 10 days, so had to start turning down museums in order to deliver to our initial group. We have world-famous partner companies (Encyclopedia Britannica, Oxford University Press, and others) who want a piece of the action, and a top 15 global law firm (Reed Smith) taking us on for free. We have achieved our previous financing round's milestones and are now raising our next round of capital from new and current investors so we can hire more talent and take advantage of the market land grab.
This is a "last call" to join the founding team as a co-founder for higher stock options before we start hiring non-founding employees. We are based in Westwood (near UCLA) and are relocating to the bay area.
