One of the nations largest vintage comic book dealers and online auctioneers seeks a new team member to play a leadership role in the company. Candidates with a strong IT background, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an interest in new business incubation will receive the highest consideration.
Job responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:
Strong coding experience.
MySql database design and Linux server environments
Prowess in caching, query optimizations and search.
Web development (eg. HTML, PHP, CMS, Javascript, AJAX , XML, XHTML).
Application development and interface design.
Update website content, graphics and banners on a regular basis.
Project management and liaison with outside programmers.
Background in Visual Basic and/or Real Basic a plus.
Implementation of Search Engine Optimization, and its ongoing pursuit.
CPC keyword optimization.
LAN support and troubleshooting.
Basic skills in Photoshop.
Experience with IMAP email servers a positive.
CAN-SPAM compliance, SpamHaus, CBL, white-listing, etc.
Interest in e-commerce, CRM, lead generation, & inventory management.
We are looking for an individual willing to make a long-term commitment. This job affords the opportunity to wear many different hats, and to define what the role will become.
