Principal Responsibilities
Manage Product & Application Technology for Region North America
Act as primary contact for WS chemistry and technology, internally and externally. Requires maintaining a strong understanding of WS core competencies (Equipment & Product) and also seeking to advance our technology know how. This includes raw material changes, specification changes, modifications, etc.
Specifying market requirements for current and future products or technologies by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
Key stakeholder in developing Customer Engineering Services marketing and business plans.
Qualifications
* MS degree Chemistry or other technical area, Phd preferred
* 5 + years experience in the water treatment industry either in treatment plant operations, water and wastewater applications and service companies
* Experience in technology analysis within Water Solutions.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing and application of core Water Solution chemistries.
* Questions the status quo, challenges current methodologies and practice.
* Demonstrate initiative to lead and a strong willingness to communicate information at all levels of the organization.
* Networking and teambuilding will be critical.
* Effective challenging and internal negotiation skills.
* Resourceful and thorough with strong follow through.
* Must be able to travel up to 20%, primarily within North America potentially in Central America.
