We?re looking for someone with at least three years experience building secure web applications. This full-time, on-site position will assist us in building a focused portfolio of enterprise scale applications for research administration. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for good design, both visual and technical.
Required Qualifications:
- Object oriented analysis, design and programming experience.
- Experience with relational database design theory and SQL query languages.
- Proven ability to work in teams/collaborate across different constituencies, skill levels and personalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirables:
- Experience programming with Ruby on Rails, PHP, and/or Python.
- Experience with software development best practices such as source code control, issue tracking, prototyping, testing, etc.
- Experience with the development and application of business rules.
- Experience with Agile development practices such as Scrum or XP.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
