Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Core Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Typically possesses seven or more years experience in contract management and negotiation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and budgeting policies and practices.
- Demonstrated experience working with FERC regulations and contract law, and/or electrical systems operations.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering presentations.
- Demonstrated experience completing multiple projects concurrently while adjusting to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing and collaborating with peers, management and other departments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
- Must demonstrate effective resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.
- Must demonstrate strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
COMMENTS: Additional testing may be required as part of the selection process for this position.

Demonstrated knowledge of electric systems operations.
Typical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will negotiate resolutions of contractual issues with third parties. Typical responsibilities will include: drafting contract amendments and related documents; providing qualitative and quantitative analysis of contractual issues; preparing and providing briefings to management on contract disputes; advising other organizations on the proper interpretation and application of contract terms; working with FERC regulations; working with electrical engineering principles; managing or directing the execution or implementation of programs or contracts that have major financial or operational impact and may cross organizational lines; evaluating/negotiating contract language, resource allocation, and timeline, as appropriate, with other companies, Corporate Officers, and/or department and division management; directing the resolution of disputes and/or claims pertaining to contract language; developing and delivering presentations; and performing other duties and responsibilities as requested.
