Title: Sr. Product Manager
Location: Waltham, MA
Reports to: VP of Product Management

We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to lead the definition and development of a new generation of Black Ducks online software developer site - Koders.com - emphasizing site functionality and content offerings that maximize interest in the site by software developers, create community, and enhance the value of the Black Duck brand. This individual will also serve as evangelist for the site, developing relationships with the FOSS developer community specifically and more generally the software developer community.

Key Responsibilities

Lead product ownership for cutting-edge developer centric website (Koders.com)
Evangelist for the site's community, drives interest and participation through speaking engagements and developer conferences, OSS events, etc.
Build product definitions which translate and balance developer needs, business needs and technological capabilities into site features and enhancements
Drive cross-functional teams, serving as product and project manager, to define product specifications, establish milestones, and manage the development, implementation and launch. Ensure that the site is on-target, on-time and of high quality.
Communicate and educate product status, key issues and launch plans to key internal constituents including senior management, engineering, customer support, etc.
Develop metrics for site usage; review usage statistics, identify and execute on key areas for improvement. Conduct surveys of community.
Monitor the competitive landscape.
Working closely with the Product team to identify gaps in core product functionality and content offerings, integrate with core product offerings, and to assign priority to key product areas for development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline, or demonstrated applicable experience. An MBA is desirable.
5+ of software or technology product management experience, preferably in an environment using iterative or agile development practices.
Demonstrated developer community mind-set; prior experience as a developer.
Development credibility, passion and follow-through skills are critical.
