Description: Participates in the development, design and systems integration for the Trnsport suite of products (under guidance of the Technical Team Leader and working in a team environment); Knows our customers' business, anticipating their needs, applying information technology solutions to solve their business problems and creating ongoing customer relationships of trust and confidence; Applies knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients; Keeps Technical Team Leader well informed of status of development effort; Participates as a team member and scrum master as needed during sprints; Develops tests and code, while acting as a coach to other team members; Participates in the code reviews to ensure technical teams are effectively contributing to projects; Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions; Effectively executes development plans and suggest revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; Communicates and reinforces coding standards within team; Mentors technical teams to deliver high-quality services to our clients; Challenges other in the team to develop as leaders; Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence; Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change; Manages the process of innovative change effectively; Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices; Facilitates effective team interaction; Acknowledges and appreciates each team member?s contributions; Encourages team members to take responsibility for their development within the company.

Associates degree in Computer Science or IT related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. 3+ years of software development and implementation and the use of software development methodologies. Must possess a technical background that enables him/her to interact easily with software developers across the company. Knowledge of and experience in relational database concepts and theory; relational database management systems. Proficient in one or more of the following: client/server operating system technologies, electronic communications, networking technologies, internet and intranet technologies and object oriented software development concepts, technologies and tools.
