The Technical Product Manager is responsible for supporting interCLICK product and engineering teams in the design and execution of interCLICK technology platforms, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, working closely with engineering, operations, analytics and support groups to ensure the success technical implementation of products. This role will also ensure that that the technology platforms are aligned with interCLICK's tactical and strategic business goals.
The Technical Product Manager is expected to:
1. Define the product strategy and roadmap for the technology platforms
2. Ensure platform roadmaps align with greater interCLICK roadmap
3. Deliver PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
4. Identify and address operation or process gaps required to support new product features
5. Work with engineering to translate PRDs into technical execution plan
6. Work with external third party technology and data vendors, ensure successful launch and integration
7. Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
8. Track product development schedules
9. Stay current of latest targeting technologies
Required experience and knowledge
1. Minimum of 4 years experience as a Product Manager, Software Developer, System Engineer or Sales/Implementation Engineer.
2. Strong technical skills a must. Knowledge of SQL, TCP/IP, HTTP, indexing strategies and statistical modeling will be assessed.
3. Knowledge of digital ad networks, ad serving technologies and behavioral targeting a definite plus.
4. Comfortable working with structured data
5. Excellent Excel, visio and statistical skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Bachelor's degree (MBA or technical/engineering degree preferred)
8. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
9. Must be able to travel 10% of the time
