As a member of the Quartus II Core Infrastructure team, you will be the primary software developer responsible for TimeQuest, an advanced static timing analysis engine and a vital piece of Quartus II infrastructure. The engine is written in heavily object-oriented C++ and supports an advanced Tcl scripting API, which allows users to create custom scripts to analyze the timing of their designs. On a typical day, you will juggle a variety of responsibilities, such as developing new features, fixing bugs, improving runtime, reducing memory consumption, and responding to requests from the field and from other development teams. The position is ideal for a strong software developer who enjoys researching and applying a diverse collection of software development techniques, e.g. generic programming, test-driven development, Agile development, unit testing.
