Our team is revolutionising the employee web experience and we now require a talented, passionate individual to help accelerate change and put user-centric design at the heart of the intranet.

 

We're looking for a Lead Developer who has strong architecture credentials. As a senior technical resource you will be responsible for helping shape the intranet technology blueprint, prototype ideas, drive our offshore capability and mentor the local team.  You?ll relish being hands on and driving things through to completion.

 

A key dimension of the role will be to embed agile engineering best practise and improve our ability to deliver more with less using a lightweight web technology stack- you?ll not be shackled by the typical big box, waterfall approach of most enterprises.

To achieve success in this opportunity you need to demonstrate proven ability in the following:

 

·         Leading delivery of commercial web applications

·         Lightweight web based architecture (SOA\REST)

·         End to end project lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test

·         Confident, pro-active communicator

·         Leading\mentoring a small team

·         Working in an agile team (pref. Scrum)

·         User-centered design

·         Test Driven Development

·         Polyglot programmer with capability in some of the following frameworks and languages: .NET, ASP.NET, C#, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX,  PHP, Ruby, SQL etc
