Independent boutique advertising agency specializing in creative and media for indie film and television clients seeks an entry- to mid-level designer/production artist with web and print design experience. This is a small firm where fit is important so please consider your reply carefully!
MUSTS:
* Entertainment experience in design for television, film and/or music;
* Both web and print design are essential;
* Excellent typography working with type-heavy layout and photography;
* Expert-level skills in Photoshop, Quark and Illustrator;
* Good if not excellent command of Flash, InDesign and Dreamweaver;
* Meticulous attention to detail in a fast-moving hands-on environment, juggling multiple projects and priorities;
* Passion for independent film.
MAYBES:
* Experience in designing and producing advertising for major film companies or major TV networks would be a distinct advantage;
* Experience working specifically in a known creative agency servicing the film and television industries would be a big plus;
* ...as would experience working in-house at a major broadcaster or film company on the creative advertising side;
* High-resolution finishing and retouching in Photoshop would also be a big advantage.

PLEASE NOTE:
This is a hands-on creative job where you will be called upon to produce finished high-resolution work under tight deadlines. You will be designing and producing creative in a very fast moving daily production environment where you will be expected to deliver final files for publication on your own with direction from the team, but without help from others to finish, retouch, code or produce. Design skills and production skills both very important.
