Interaction Design
Description:
Interaction Designers work with software developers, project managers, product managers, and business owners to develop the next generation of our web-based applications and assist in the critical evaluation and continuous improvement of existing ones.
Responsibilities:
+ help define user interaction models for new and existing products
+ sketch and present UI concepts, including visual design and behaviors with paper sketches, wireframes, task/workflows, simple working prototypes, or whatever form best communicates your ideas
+ participate in user-centered research with customers through focus groups, usage analysis, and rapid prototyping
+ communicate UI design solutions to multiple development teams through detailed specifications and similar types of communication documents
Requirements:
+ advanced degree in interaction design (BS or MS in HCI, design, or related field) or equivalent experience
+ demonstrated strong design skills, especially concerning typography, information hierarchy, and data visualization
+ understanding of UI design methodology and practices
+ expert understanding of UI design methodology and practices
+ expert knowledge of HTML and CSS
+ curiosity, a thirst to keep learning new technologies and methods, and a desire to build great products
