We are seeking a .Net developer, who possesses a strong work ethic and is willing to strive for maintainable code, to join our New York based Technology Services group. The successful candidate will play an integral role in the ongoing development of our trade analysis and compliance system.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop new features based on business requirements and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Maintain existing code base in ASP.NET, .NET services, JavaScript and C# client applications; develop new features in ASP.NET and AJAX; and assist in special projects as needed.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in the design and development of C# ASP.net web applications including experience with AJAX frameworks.
Must be highly knowledgeable of object oriented programming and multi-threaded programming techniques.
Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrate initiative, and the ability to work independently and in a team to solve problems.
Prior experience at a financial services, banking or investment firm particularly within Market Data or Equities Trading is a plus.
Prefer 4-year degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline.
