Investor Analytics is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team. The Software Developer will work in all facets of the development cycle of our constantly expanding service offering, from server-side infrastructure and model implementation to UI and database design.
The successful candidate will work with the QA, Client Services and Financial Engineering groups to ensure that timely, accurate and useful analyses are brought to market through our highly scalable and user-friendly system. Attention to detail, solid coding skills, creativity and the ability to work as part of a team in delivering high quality analytics and code under aggressive deadlines are fundamental attributes of everyone at IA. This position is in our NJ offices in Berkeley Heights, NJ, and will involve occasional travel to our midtown NYC offices.
Candidates must have:
3+ years enterprise Java development experience
Experience with web service/server side development, including Spring/JSP/Servlet development.
Experience with AJAX-based frontend development
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
Outstanding organizational and communication skills
Candidates should have:
Database development experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
User Interface design/development experience
Strong math skills
Strong Unix skills
Experience developing financial services software
