Definitely be good at this stuff:
- Familiarity with LAMP stack and strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript and MySQL
- Strong command of web standards, CSS based-design and browser compatibility
- Experience writing and optimizing database queries against large datasets
- Ability to seamlessly switch between back-end and front-end development to polish a feature to completion
Maybe be good at some of this stuff:
- Caching technology (Memcached, etc.)
- Scaling strategies (heavy traffic or intensive tasks)
- Browser Extension Development (Firefox, Chrome, IE)
- System administration (Ubuntu)
- Search engines (Sphinx, Lucene)
- Mobile Development (iPhone / Android / Blackberry)
