C# Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters (Boston, Massachusetts United States)

We are constantly coming up with new ideas, improving our products, and trying new technologies.

Some things youll be doing:

* Coding C# (sometimes another language)
* Designing databases, writing and tuning database queries (lots of LINQ and SQL)
* Writing standards-compliant CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
* Working with a small, agile team
* Interpreting business requirements and implementing new features
* Prototyping your ideas and presenting them to your team

Required

* C# experience You dont have to be an expert, you just need to be smart!
* Web development (ASP.NET) experience Full lifecycle web development is expected
* Enthusiasm We like being software engineers, you should too
* Curiosity We use the latest technologies, you should learn about them

Bonus

* Database tuning
* Financial industry experience (Fixed Income a BIG plus)
* Machine Learning
* Knowledge of web standards
* Experience with Flash/Flex
* Experience with WPF and WCF
