Clinic is looking for a front end developer to join their digital team. You will be an experienced html hand coder who can build W3C accessible web pages from Photoshop layouts and wireframes, who has at least 3+ years of commercial experience.
You will be working closely with the design and development teams and will be involved in developing the UX documentation as part of a cohesive unit.
You will have an excellent understanding of digital media and will know your usability from your accessibility. You will have an interest and understanding of web 2.0 technologies, web application development and social networking.
You will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work across multiple projects in a lively digital agency environment.
Skills:
- Handcoding of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript
- Understanding of W3C and WAI guidelines, and structural SEO
- Expert knowledge of cross browser and cross platform issues
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and Flash
- Experience with testing and debugging code
- Experience with implementing HTML templates into a variety of CMS systems – from WordPress to Drupal across predominantly PHP based systems
You will be responsible for delivering all the html code across a number of client projects, and for maintaining and progressing the agencies front end development expertise.
You will be able to work under pressure whilst keeping to good practice and delivering clean code.
Immediate start
12 Month Contract to Permanent
Salary: 25-32k
