SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER (Reports to VP, Product)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sonicbids team is looking for a truly exceptional Senior Product Manager with a passion for building products, strong aptitude for idea generation, attention to detail and follow-through, and proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The product lead will be responsible for the full lifespan of the product, from conception to implementation. You will design user flows and specs, create and prioritize new features and collaborate with design and the engineering teams to bring these flows to life. This is a full time position in Boston, MA.
RESPONSBILITIES:
â?¢ Work closely with engineering and design to deliver boundary-pushing products that will delight consumers
â?¢ Create and deliver comprehensive product requirements and wireframes
â?¢ Prioritize features to deliver highest value to user
â?¢ Manage timelines
â?¢ Define success metrics and track product and feature performance relative to goals
â?¢ Align and energize key stakeholders and team members responsible for the product lifecycle
â?¢ Lead the full product lifecycle â?? from ideation, requirements definition, through to delivery â?? collaborating with teams across the company
â?¢ Leverage user feedback and usage data to extract insights into product requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
â?¢ Demonstrated success defining and launching robust and innovative products in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
â?¢ 3+ years product development experience in a consumer-facing web company with emphasis towards web 2.0 concepts
â?¢ Passion for the internet and new technologies
â?¢ Highly creative, out of the box thinker
â?¢ Detail oriented perfectionist with a pragmatic streak
â?¢ Exceptional written and oral communication skills
â?¢ Highly organized with excellent analytical skills
â?¢ Strong UX background and intuition
â?¢ Proactive and entrepreneurially oriented with demonstrated ability to take ownership of products and drive them to completion
â?¢ Exceptional technical abilities and demonstrated ability to work in partnership with engineering and design teams
â?¢ Ability to prioritize competing opportunities, balance market needs with business priorities, drive detailed trade-offs over the product lifecycle, manage conflict, and articulate the rationale behind decisions.
