UNH Manchester, the university?s urban, commuter campus seeks an experienced Web Services Technician to join the Marketing & Community Relations department. This position will provide a variety of web application, design, and development services to the college including customer support, software programming and development, information management, training and documentation with the goal of increasing functionality and enhancements. Minimum Qualifications include ? - Associates degree and two years of experience, bachelor\'s degree, or combination of education and experience equal to four years. - Experience with design, development, implementation and maintenance of web sites, including analyzing data related to use and publishing reports. - Training in information technology areas and experience with several varieties of computing or programming, MS Office applications, Adobe Professional, and databases. - Overall computer literacy and computer skills including experience with PC and MAC computers. - Effective oral and written communication and customer service skills. - Problem-solving skills. - Able to work as part of a team or independently. - HTML/ ASP code, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, SML, PHP, PHP server scripting, MYSQL, SQL, C++, JAVA, DRUPAL, FLASH, Photoshop, Acrobat, Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks. - Experience with conversion of existing graphical images, audio, video files for online use. - Demonstrated knowledge of browser compatibility. - Utilize time effectively to meet demands of various projects and deadlines. - Ability and willingness to respond to \"off hour\" emergency changes to the web site. Additional Desirable Qualifications include creativity, persistence, patience, diplomacy, and a desire to learn. The successful candidate ? -Manage 600+ page website currently in PHP with a migration and upgrade of all pages to DRUPAL in the next year. -Along with supervisor, collaborate with 19 administrative offices/areas and 15 academic departments, including the library, to enhance page content including text, graphics, audio and video. -Respond to daily requests (est. 5/day) for updates and enhancements to site. -75 percent time is approximately 28 hours per week, schedule is to be determined with hiring department.
