We are a small startup building financial software for wealth managers. Our founders and advisors come from a long line of top companies including PayPal, Palantir, UNX, and Clarium Capital.
We are looking for a full-time all-star designer to come work with us at our Mountain View headquarters. Typically, financial tools have UIs that are significantly outdated. You'll be charged with solving design challenges for user-interfaces in both the prototype and production design of our platform that will manage billions of dollars.
Your responsibilities include designing low to high-end fidelity prototypes, through usability and design review iterations. You appreciate the constructive wisdom of designing in a highly collaborative team environment and are confident in making decisions, but are secure enough to take constructive criticism and challenges to your work. You revel in design strategy challenges and are eager to help define the design process within the design and dev teams. You thrive on bringing elegant order to complex and challenging environments. You have a finished portfolio showing smart approaches to user interface design, specifically demonstrating capabilities in desktop interfaces.
Compensation will be commensurate with talent and may include significant equity in the company. Experience in designing intuitive user interfaces is a must. It would also be nice if you are able to do print design. We look forward to working with you.
