Adura Technologies, Inc. is a growing VC-funded Cleantech startup. Our Company produces wireless mesh-networking devices for commercial building lighting controls. We provide innovative solutions to help customers reduce their energy consumption; operating costs and carbon footprint.
We are currently expanding our team by looking to hire a talented Senior Web Application Engineer with a strong work ethic as well as seasoned web development skills. We are looking to fill a full time position. Interested candidates should be passionate about their work and always look for creative solutions to problems.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5 years of web programming experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Desire to be part of a fast growing, high-energy, high-performance start-up company.
- Multi-tasker with attention to detail and adaptability
- A "Big Picture" attitude
- Able to hit the ground running
- Team player but can work independently
- Experience in an Agile development environment
- Familiarity with version control software (Subversion)
Responsibilities:
- Web developer for company’s flagship web-application products
- Work closely with Product Management and software engineering
- Member of Software Engineering team
Desired Skills:
- Strong web development and debugging skills with PHP5, Javascript and AJAX
- Rich, data-driven, and interactive graphical interfaces (XML, Flash, Flex)
- Strong experience using graphing/charting components
- Experience developing mobile web applications and secure web-sites
- Strong working knowledge of Windows IIS
- Object-Oriented Design and implementation
- MVC architectural patterns
- LightVC framework
- CoughPHP/MySQL
- Strong JavaScript and jQuery skills
- Strong skills with CSS; cross-browser knowledge (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
