LoudDoor is seeking a jr web developer. We are looking for LAMP developers who are self-motivated quick learners that want their ideas to be heard, and have an impact on the business. Your Responsibilities will include:
- Working with PHP and MySQL to build, and maintain, high availability and scaling web applications.
- Leveraging the Facebook Platform to create cohesive user experiences
- Working with HTML, CSS, and Javascript (jQuery, AJAX, etc) to build out design concepts and user experiences, while maintaining a high level of web standards compliance.
- Reporting directly to the CTO for input and guidance
- Building out small to mid-size stand-alone applications based on written requirements
Required Skills:
- Great communication
- Strong core knowledge of PHP and Object Oriented Programming principles
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and standard data-storage principles
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS
Pluses:
- Experience using jQuery framework
- Experience building jQuery plugins
- Experience with any number of other popular languages commonly used for web development (Python, Ruby, etc)
- Linux server administration
