We're
on the hunt for an experienced, smart, motivated, independent web designer
who enjoys what they do and gets it done.
You?ll
need a background in interactive web design and know how to design around
dynamic information and user content.
This
is a great opportunity for someone who loves everything web to help drive the
development of an exciting site that is truly helping people supporting
important causes.
Strong
interpersonal skills, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a
collaborative, fast-paced, iterative work environment are a must. Demonstrated
knowledge of opportunities and limitations of web applications, as well as
attention to detail with self-pride in quality of work are essential.
To
be considered for the position, you'll need:
- An absolute passion for delivering the best experience possible for those using your designs
- Skill using graphical programs like Photoshop/Illustrator/Fireworks to create mockups and visual elements as needed.
- Strong visual design skills. As well as interface design, you'll also be helping out with our web site and other marketing materials
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment that takes ideas from whiteboard to production quickly
- Experience defining user flows, interaction design and solid grounding in design principles
- Proficient at writing HTML and CSS for cross-browser compatibility.
- Extra credit for knowing JavaScript/jQuery and previously working within an MVC framework.
