What we need you to do:
- Create web pages leveraging existing style guide and brand look/feel
- Take wireframes and turn them into websites utilizing web design best practices
- Assist in the review and redesigning of existing application architecture and assist in designing new applications
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility for all of our pages
- Create landing pages to capture emails for a PPC ad campaign; optimize the site for SEO
- Design and implement emails to communicate our deals to prospective customers
- Keep the website integrated with the latest social networking tools (e.g. Facebook, Twitter)
What skills you need to have:
- 7+ years professional experience in web development
- 5+ years of application architecture experience
- HTML/CSS - Expert +
- PHP, Javascript - Expert +
- Good knowledg of Smarty templates
- Illustrator/Photoshop - Good +
- Some sense of color, navigation, and space
- Knowledge of browser caveats and pitfalls (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
- Knowledge of user interface and web design best practices
- Keen attention to detail
- BA/BS
- Experience working in a start up environment is a plus
- Knowledg of nightlife venues, alcohol brands and the 21-35 year old consumer is a plus
