Who You Are
You're a rockstar web designer, usability specialist and
project leader who lives to build great web products. You've got the ability to
lead multiple design or redesign projects and work with a variety of stakeholders
and partners to deliver clean, innovative, standards-compliant, and
user-friendly web experiences on-time and on-cost. You're a fan of the
"less is more" philosophy and driven by sophisticated, elegant and
effective user-interfaces.
Principal responsibility
The Senior UX Designer will lead the redesign of all outdated concept
websites to make them world-class, user-friendly web products that are simple,
straightforward, intuitive, web 2.0, and standards compliant.
Key areas of responsibility
?
Guide stakeholders through the Information
Architecture (IA) process to define goals and requirements and ensure that each
project has a clear, well-defined IA
?
Lead the design journey through process flows,
wireframes, low and high-fidelity prototypes of each project and iterate as
required for higher UI quality
?
Facilitate the project as required to ensure
successful completion
?
Determine and communicate project costs,
timelines, manpower and budgetary requirements
?
Help build Landmark's web division by hiring relevant
team members to facilitate the above redesign program
?
Outsource web functions (like design,
development, copywriting etc.) wherever required to expedite accomplishing the
program's goals; assist partners in accomplishing project/product/program
goals.

Communicate project progress, problems and
projections on a regular basis
?
Provide design and usability advice on recently
redesigned web products and on emerging initiatives such as e-commerce to
improve the quality of the user-experience (UX) for these initiatives
Qualifications
?
Proven mastery of design for web usability
?
Bachelors or Masters in Human Computer
Interaction, Information Design, Web Design or related field
?
Proven ability to develop process flow diagrams,
wireframes, low and high-fidelity prototypes to articulate information design
?
Minimum 7 years creating web experiences
?
Extreme passion for user-centered design
practices and the ability to demonstrate mastery of the principles of interface
design, information architecture, interaction design and visual design
?
Passion for the social web
Ability to analyze complex ideas and propose design solutions that solve
specified problems
