Our continued growth has resulted in an exciting opportunity to lead the Corporate Strategy department. The Group Vice President â?? Corporate Strategy, reporting to the CEO, will be responsible for the following areas:
â?¢ As a senior leader of the Corporate Strategy Team, scope, lead and deliver cross-functional strategic, organizational, or operational projects that are part of the CEO agenda
â?¢ Drive accountability for all projects with a high strategic impact from initiative to execution and implementation
â?¢ Actively manage such projects from start to finish including identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations, and helping to implement change
â?¢ Provide deep insights into topics relevant for the company based on industry experience and strategic foresight
â?¢ Engage effectively in a trusted advisor role with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team.
â?¢ Leverage strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with other teams and individuals inside and outside the company (e.g. internal managers, external consultants)
â?¢ Resourcefully navigate in a global corporate environment and drive results through effective influence, partnership and superior execution
â?¢ Analyze market opportunities and develop robust strategies and business plans that are ahead of the company's current operational plan
â?¢ Incubate new business opportunities
â?¢ Interface with the Corporate Business Development team to ensure all acquisitions are a strategic fit with the corporate plan and provide leadership and assistance in due diligence and integration activities
â?¢ May be required to travel up to 30% %3C/TEXTFORMAT>
Qualifications:
Qualifications include the following:
â?¢ 5-10 years post-MBA experience in management consulting (strategy firm) and/or corporate development/strategy organizationÂ
â?¢ Experience in the technology or software industryÂ
â?¢ Strong presentation and communication skillsÂ
â?¢ Strong financial and business modeling skillsÂ
â?¢ Ability to drive virtual teams and establish strong working relationships both inside and outside the company
â?¢ MBA highly preferred
