CodeMettle is designing and developing a next generation network control system software designed to provide for automation of complex networks employed in communications, media and Government markets. The Company is leveraging open source software to the greatest extent possible in creating this new product which will itself be marketed under an open source license. The posted position is for a senior software designer and programmer reporting to the Chief of Software Development. The role is that of a lead GUI client designer and developer. Only very skilled and experienced personnel will be considered.
The primary area of focus will be the design and creation of the graphical front end of the system. The candidate will design, document, develop, tune, troubleshoot, and maintain the GUI software.
Job responsibilities include:
Full lifecycle application development
Object-oriented Design and Analysis
Designing, coding and debugging applications
Requirements analysis
Software modeling and simulation
Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
Integrate software with the final system
Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
The Company is located in Atlanta, but the position does not require someone that is local, i.e., a virtual office is acceptable.
