POSITION SUMMARY
3Degrees is seeking a dynamic individual to manage our partnership with Dominion Virginia Power, build and expand the Dominion Green Power program, and grow and manage a dedicated green power team throughout the state. Green Power is a voluntary renewable energy program, enabling Dominion's Virginia customers to support local green power development. This position will manage the planning and execution of Green Power outreach and education efforts to the utility's customer base.
This is a full-time position requiring program management, client management, marketing management, budget planning and management, and supervisory responsibilities.
CORE DUTIES
â?¢ Program Management: Manage and be a key contributor to a variety of on-going programs and projects such as direct mail campaigns, call center staff training, regulatory disclosure requirements, and community outreach.
â?¢ Client Management: Work closely with utility staff to meet utility customer enrollment goals for the voluntary renewable energy program. Develop a positive long-term relationship with the utility and its stakeholders through a commitment to quality work products, timeliness, and attention to detail.
â?¢ Marketing Management: Coordinate multi-channel marketing efforts from conception to execution including targeted direct mail, bill envelope marketing, bill inserts, online marketing, newsletters, etc. Apply understanding of marketing concepts, customer demographics, utility communication vehicles, and renewable energy to design and execute an effective annual marketing plan.
â?¢ Supervisory responsibilities: Manage two Community Outreach coordinators and their teams of field staff members working in remote locations, and potentially a Business Development Manager. Ability and desire to foster a healthy work environment and mentor a staff of committed individuals.
â?¢ Budget planning and management: Develop and work with an annual budget to deploy the marketing plan.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
â?¢ 4 year college degree; advanced degree in business administration, marketing or related field welcomed
â?¢ 5-10 years experience in management, marketing, program or project management, and client interfacing roles; understanding of utility business encouraged
â?¢ Demonstrated commitment to the environment encouraged
â?¢ Excellent professional communication skills; listening, verbal & written
â?¢ Budget management experience
â?¢ Presentation and facilitation skills
â?¢ Knowledge of or experience in business-to-business sales
â?¢ Knowledge of renewable energy, especially voluntary renewable energy certificate programs, welcomed
â?¢ Strong working knowledge of MS Office
