Want to shake up politics and build an awesome web app for making phone calls? We need a programmer to build an application from the ground up on Twilio (twilio.com) that will change politics for good.
Us: We're fast-paced campaign junkies who thrive off winning elections using cutting-edge technology and quantitative approaches to problem solving.
You: You'll build bleeding-edge applications for political campaigns and advocacy efforts. You're willing to work long, hard hours immediately, because we've got next to no time to get our first program built in time for the November 2nd elections. (After that, sleeping is permitted.) You'll be the only programmer, so you must be able to translate high-level ideas into code.
A couple requirements: Our first app will be built on Twilio, so experience with Twilio is a huge plus. You must have experience with EC2 as well.
Developers in the Bay Area are preferred. Strong applicants elsewhere are encourage to apply if you are a clear communicator and willing to spend lots of time on the phone and emailing to make sure that we're giving you the support you need and that you're building the product that we need.
Sound good? We think so, too. We can't wait to hear from you.
