LexBlog is looking for a front-end web designer to work on-site in our Seattle office You’ll create amazing blogs, websites, and tools for our clients that will empower them to better connect with everyday people. You'll get to work with a small, talented, and creative team that is passionate about web standards, usability, and emergent browser technologies.
About YOU:
- You have exceptional design skills. Illustration is a plus.
- You can take a great idea and turn it into something visually stunning.
- You are creative, yet meticulous down to the tiniest detail.
- You are well organized and can handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- You are passionate about beautiful design, typography and usability.
What YOU’LL Do:
- Review specs and requirements from both internal and external customers.
- Design beautiful layouts in Photoshop that will be turned over to our development team.
- Receive and contribute feedback during the design process.
- Fulfill design requests from clients regarding changes to existing designs and the implementation of new design features to live sites.
- Help layout marketing and client-facing materials.
Awesome Skills to HAVE:
- Fluent in Adobe Creative/Production Suite with strong emphasis on Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong experience with interactive design including: overall concept/vision, layout, information architecture, typography, and usability.
- Understands how to design for the web, knowing the limitations when converting to HTML and CSS.
- Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment.
