NRDC is looking for someone to do freelance social media work in the New York City area for 20-30 hours a week. We're looking for an excellent writer with a demonstrable understanding of environmental issues and experience updating, managing and encouraging involvement on Facebook pages and Twitter.
Responsibilities would include daily monitoring and updating of NRDC's presence on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites and compiling and analyzing data on traffic, visitors, and actions taken on our web properties. The work would need to be done remotely with some flexibility to come to NRDC's New York office at least once a week, pay is $25 an hour. Familiarity with Convio, Google AdWords, Facebook ads, Google Analytics, and SEO is a plus, as is an understanding of basic video editing and experience working with Photoshop.
