Travelocity: Senior Web Product Manager

Travel planning and sharing website IgoUgo.com is seeking a driven and motivated senior product manager to work day-to-day with a small, enthusiastic group of designers, developers, and editors dedicated to building a website they're proud to recommend to their friends. We are looking for proven experience in successfully developing and managing new products and the ability to quickly drive to key decisions. While we don't expect a product manager to know all the answers, we do expect he or she will know where to find them.

Specific tasks of the job will include:

* Identifying and prioritizing new site features and enhancements based on user needs and company strategy;

* Driving the complete product development cycle of strategy, production, usability testing, and implementation;

* Managing a small team of designers and developers

* Communicating with parent company Travelocity.com.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

* A minimum of seven years experience with at least five years experience as a product manager for a consumer-facing website;

* An understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET, SEO, and database and web server technologies;

*Experienced business judgment, BS/BA required

* A passion for building websites that includes experience maintaining his or her own blog, online portfolio, or hobby website;

*An ability to handle multiple projects, delegate work and provide leadership; previous people management experience preferred

* Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization

* A willingness to provide and accept constructive criticism;

* Strong feelings about customer service;

* A love of travel and entrepreneurial environments
