The Software Design Engineer will focus on Web and mobile software: extending our Java/JSP Web application, with an emphasis on open source technologies such as Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Struts, and MySQL; and improving our native software for mobile platforms such as BlackBerry, iPhone/iPad, and possibly others. Our software is highly usable, fast, scalable, mobile, and interoperable, and these challenges demand a database-savvy engineer who can master modern Web paradigms such as AJAX and REST, and who can optimize software to feel snappy on mobile devices.
You:
- bring at least one year of experience as a Web and/or mobile developer... plus a lifetime of curiosity
