Nowmov is a real-time entertainment site featuring an endless stream of videos that are popular right now. Were a Y Combinator graduate funded by top angel investors and VCs including Ron Conway, Jeff Clavier, Paul Buchheit and Ashton Kutcher (plus many more). Our co-founders include two Apple video experts and a serial technical entrepreneur and were seeking a top notch Ruby on Rails engineer to join us in taking over real-time video discovery.
Responsibilities
- Build and own features start to finish
- Implement front end interfaces using CSS and JavaScript
- Work with a small tight-knit team and help drive company vision
Requirements
- Must be brilliant and motivated
- Passionate about building consumer-facing sites
- A Ruby or Python wiz; Rails is a plus
- Experience in machine learning and mobile development is a plus
- Enthusiastic about online videos. (Yes you can watch http://nowmov.com all day)
