Position Title: Sr. Project Planner - Personal Care Products

This key position is a critical link between marketing and operational
cross-functional departments. This position provides the opportunity for
project planning to support new product/promotional launches and also
provide operational support for on-going business, including product phase
out management, inventory/supply chain issues, coordination of new formula
phase-ins.
Project Planning
. Lead cross-functional teams from concept to launch
. Generate new projects using templates in MS Project
. Facilitate weekly update meeting and work with the team to keep
projects on track
. Communicate project scope and timeline changes to stakeholders with
impact on project deliverables
On-Going Business
. Manage approved product phases outs, including component match out,
disposal, communication of run-out dates
. Coordinate timing/internal communication of formula changes
. Work with OPS to resolve inventory shortages
Other
. Manage the training of new users on MS Project web interface
. Develop and implement additional tracking and other relevant metrics
. Provide long-term vision for Project Planner role(s) within the
company
. Seek out and implement new opportunities to grow the department
functionality in order to service the company accordingly
Education Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
. Strong business and project leadership skills, assertive and
diplomatic, self directing, willing to hold others accountable
. Strong team player; works well with other
. 5-8 years experience of multi-functional project management or new
product development
. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and listening
skills
. Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project
. Consumer product industry experience with a preference for the
Personal Care Products Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods
. Knowledge of product development, packaging development, and process
engineering
. Knowledgeable in stage Project Management practices (a certified,
professional project manager is a plus)
. Fluent English
