Job Description:
The Software Developer will join the ANSYS Meshing Platform (AMP) Architecture team and be responsible for design, implementation, and defect correction.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, implementation, defect correction and verification of architectural foundations of AMO to support rapidly expanding ANSYS Workbench meshing technologies and methodologies
Areas of focus will include:
o User interface and exposure
o Graphics
o Code componentization
o Data Structures and Interfaces
o Managed and unmanaged interop
o Mesh method interoperability
o High performance parallel computing (both multi core and distributed)
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering with Software focus, or a related discipline
Demonstrated (industry or academic) experience in GUI, controller and framework infrastructure aspects related to application development support
Experience with inter processor communication, data structures, multi threading, model data abstractions, and platform independent code development
Proficient in C++ and familiarity with object-oriented design
Experience with Microsoft operating systems and technologies such as COM and .NET
Familiarity with CAD, computational mechanics or engineering analysis codes, is a plus
