We have developed a distributed semantic search engine that we are using to report on compensation data across multiple variables. We operate the largest salary survey in the world, and we collect and report on millions of job profiles. Our technology produces actionable results that are used daily by thousands of employees and HR professionals to make compensation decisions.
About You
You must be a bright independent thinker, both motivated and personable. You will be expected to solve difficult technical problems, produce innovative IP, and guide the technical direction of our development team. You will be involved in strategic planning for the direction of the company and products.
Our data is our business - and you will be expected to understand that data, and identify issues relating to it. Latency, performance, coherency are all important aspects. You must be comfortable learning a complex system in a constrained time frame.
Requirements:
You must have an understanding of C++.
Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Experience with distributed systems
Advanced performance optimization experience
10+ years experience
Preferred:
Previous experience developing search technology, including indexing, serving and relevance.
Experience with compilers and parsers.
Data mining and statistical analysis.
.NET development would be a plus.
