We?re looking for a seasoned developer who is adept at Ruby on Rails and the various technologies and protocols that drive and scale modern web applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain major portions of the server architecture.
- Create and maintain the various APIs used by Path?s mobile applications.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails.
- Commitment to test driven development.
- Experience implementing rich user interfaces using semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working on a high traffic web application.
Ideally
- Actively contributed to open source software.
- Worked with Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with storing and querying geolocation data.
- Experience with MongoDB or similar document-oriented data stores.
- Experience with Cucumber and RSpec.
- Experience with JQuery.
- Used Git for version control.
