Responsibilities
The Resource/Project Manager will play a critical role in building the resource teams for our Consulting projects. He/she will work with members of the firm, including Principals, project team members, and candidates to identify and hire consultants with energy experience for key roles on strategy consulting projects.
The Resource/Project Manager will perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.
Requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment, with Partners, Principals, Project Managers, Support Staff.
Minimum of 5 years experience specialized in the energy industry, for example in Project Management, Marketing, Sales, Financial Analysis.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of energy markets, such as:
-Gas & electricity markets and how they function
-Registered Energy Marketers
-Marketing to large industrials or commercial customers
-Energy procurement consulting
-Energy Origination
-Wind Operations & Maintenance (O&M),
Familiar with one or more of these types of organizations: ISOs, e.g. ERCOT, SPP, NEISO, NYISO, CAISO, WECC, MISO, PJM; Utilities; Investment banks specialized in energy; Manufacturers of energy equipment, e.g. building controls, solar, wind; IPPs.
Can develop and continually improve the Resource Management process, with minimal support staff.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent
Location: Orange County/Los Angeles, CA. Local candidates preferred.
