We are an online educational company located in the heart of the financial district, and are looking for new talent to continually help us expand our efforts in the field of education. We provide online video-based courses to assist teachers in a convenient online platform.
Responsibilities
â?¢ Design, development, testing and maintenance of modules for the ASP.NET web platform, including video streaming, web front ends, web services, middle tier interfaces, MS-SQL Server stored procedures, ETL, Reporting Services.
â?¢ Production support for any and all of the applications, including release management, configuration, reporting, analysis, performance tuning.
Qualifications
â?¢ 5+ years experience developing web applications. Strong foundation of programming fundamentals.
â?¢ Experience in designing and developing ASP.NET applications in C# using framework 2.0 and above. Proven experience with AJAX and Web Services. (Required)
â?¢ Experience in programmatic data management including XML and SQL and designing data models to accommodate business requirements. Expert knowledge of stored procedures and user-defined functions to support business rules.
â?¢ Experience in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and/or DTS (Data Transformation Services) with data mining and other data analysis skills. (Preferred)
â?¢ Thorough understanding of front-end Web technologies and usability best practices (HTML, JavaScript, Themes, Skins)
â?¢ Familiarity with .NET application integrations with Microsoft SharePoint 2007.
â?¢ Ability to quickly adapt to new systems, technologies and business requirements and proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
â?¢ Excellent analytical and communication skills.
â?¢ A minimum of one current Microsoft Certification. (Preferred)
