This person will both manage a team of top-notch front-end developers with very low turnover and also remain hands-on implementing new features in an agile development environment. Responsibilities:
Managing the front-end engineering team (6 members) to develop the user interface portion of Adifys product - a unique platform that enables anyone to create and manage vertical advertising networks.
Using strong user interface skills and cutting-edge technology to design the look and feel of Adifys products.
Collaborate with the product management team to plan feature developments, scope, and track progress of projects.
Closely work with QA, PM, and operations to identify issues and improve our development process.
Assist operations and product support teams to help resolve production issues.
Qualifications:
Previous development experience building highly scalable web systems for consumer and/or business sites and extensive experience with multiple-tier applications.
In-depth understanding of Microsoft .NET technology and experience using C#, ASP.NET, and Web Services.
Familiarity hand coding CSS, JavaScript, and HTML/XHTML.
Experience with various JavaScript frameworks such as YUI, jQuery, Prototype, etc.
3+ years of engineering management experience. Successfully led a team to deliver features in the past.
Ability to help team members identify design issues and resolve conflicts among team members and different organizations.
Experience working in a diverse, fast paced solution oriented application development environment.
High degree of integrity, passion and drive.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.
Working experience in on-line advertising industry is a huge plus.![]()
