Our development team is looking for a bright, motivated Test Automation Developer to help us meet our Web application releases. This is a fun, fast paced environment and a rare opportunity to work on cutting edge Web applications in a philanthropic setting. This position requires a person who is passionate about quality and loves to work with test automation tools.
The ideal candidate can:
Use Visual Studio 2010 Test Manager to create and run manual and automated tests (or demonstrate experience with similar tools)
Demonstrate fluency in C# and experience with Web application testing in an ASP.NET environment
Create/manage test plans, test cases, and bugs
Manage their own test environment and configuration (servers and clients)
Manage testing priorities to make the most of short development cycles in an Agile environment
Identify problems and suggest improvements to our Web interface usability
Additionally, an excellent candidate knows can demonstrate knowledge of the software development lifecycle, working within development teams, and have at least 3 years experience with Web applications. A four-year degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their knowledge of C# through code examples during the interview.
