IT Programmer
Volition, Inc., a video game development studio in Champaign, IL, is seeking an experienced programmer to join the IT Department.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain and support existing internal websites
· Design and implement new websites for various internal and
external projects
· Design, implement, and maintain internal web-based tools
· Maintain internal IT scripts (logon scripts, automated install
packages, etc)
· Work with IT Staff to improve internal systems and processes
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's in Computer Science, a similar degree, or
comparable experience
· Knowledge in the areas of C#, .NET Framework, C/C++, SQL,
ADO.NET, ASP.NET, VB and CSS
· Experience scripting in a Windows environment
· Eagerness to work proactively and suggest creative solutions
· Ability to create detailed and accurate implementation plans to
minimize downtime of high-profile IT systems
· Ability to work independently and communicate well with IT
and other teams
Pluses:
· Knowledge of source control systems (Perforce), scripting
(Perl, Python, and/or Lua), PHP, and MS SQL Server
· Working knowledge of Cold Fusion
· Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server
· Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft System Center
· Experience with SNMP, WMI, or other management protocols
This is a full time, on-site position in Champaign, IL.
