Position Overview
The position described in this document will be responsible for technical scope, planning, and execution of development related projects. This position will work to design and build web applications to complement our current software as a service (SaaS) products. Accurate and complete documentation and the ongoing support of development projects will also be the responsibility of the developer.
Essential Job Functions
-Develop, code, and test functions, procedures, and scripts, for software applications
-Translate customer requirements into software design, development, plan and implementation
-Propose system design/enhancements based on customer problems and product requirements
-Act as a subject matter expert on functionality and code-level detail
-Provide pre and post sales technical support
Non-essential Job Functions
-Continued education on all company applications, utilities, and general functional areas
-Participate in other sales and marketing activities on an as needed basis
Requirements/Other Skills
-2 years software development experience
-Experience and familiarity supporting SaaS products
-Experience maintaining a production web application
-Clearly communicating technical concepts to lay persons
-Ability to work on several projects concurrently and adapt to changing requirements
-General knowledge of business systems and processes
-Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed goals and objectives
Understanding of the following platforms
-MySQL
-PHP
-Advanced Javascript
-jQuery
-HTML
-CSS
-NetSuite/Salesforce.com experience a plus
