We are offering a software engineering position to an innovative individual to become part of our development team. Working independently and with a team, the candidate will experience all facets of a Software Development environment. The team is comprised of local developers and offshore developers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience, to learn, and to provide additional capabilities to the team while training to become a senior level engineer.
Primary Skills
* Java web development (MVC, J2EE)
* Web application development using JSP, Java, and MySQL
* HTML/CSS/JavaScript
* Skill at working with remote objects and web services
* RDBMS experience (MySQL)
Additional/Desired Skills
* FLEX (ActionScript) is a BIG PLUS
* Experience with BlazeDS
* jQuery
* Subversion
* Development in both Linux and Windows environments
* Linux Administration
* Apache Tomcat
* Apache HTTP Server
* Experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA)
* Ability to prioritize responsibilities, work to deadlines, and meet project goals
* Readiness to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
* Support product migration to various environments
* Participate in and support platform upgrades
Requirements
* BS in Computer Science or related area
* At least one (1) year industry experience programming in Java
