Description: This position will guide and direct business planners, supply schedulers, and the quality organization globally for this international company.
Duties and responsibilities include:
â?¢ Drive improvements in supply chain and quality processes
â?¢ Simplify and standardize processes using LEAN and Six Sigma Tools
â?¢ Drive production planning and scheduling to ensure product availability and achieve target service levels
â?¢ Implement inventory optimization and inventory target setting processes
â?¢ Implement real â??time measurement and control systems
â?¢ Ownership of the Quality organization including improving quality systems and processes, reducing number of customer quality notification and maintaining certification to the appropriate ISO and quality standards.
â?¢ Developing direct reports and others. Provide challenging assignments. Hold frequent development discussions, critically evaluate teams, etc.
Requirements:
The following are required:
â?¢ 7+ years managing direct reports and others throughout an international, multi-location company.
â?¢ Experience implementing planning, forecasting and scheduling processes.
â?¢ Strategic Agility â?? ability to create competitive and break-though strategies and plans
â?¢ Global experience with a high volume skew and large product line (over 5,000)
â?¢ Chemical industry experience
â?¢ Bachelors degree
The following are desired:
â?¢ Global experience including manufacturing in Europe or Asia
â?¢ LEAN or Six Sigma experience
â?¢ SAP
