What we need to do:
Design (and redesign), architect and support systems needed to improve our product. This will include designing new data stores and additional fault tolerant systems.
Design capacity measurement systems.
Develop brain-dead simple deployment systems
Design intelligent monitoring and performance measurement systems
Implement an extremely efficient configuration management system. Extend our monitoring framework.
Develop self healing systems.
Rapidly expand our server footprint.
Folks we are looking for will have:
A love for the work we do.
Proven history of developing fault tolerant systems.
Ruby, Python or Perl programming expertise.
Expertise with monitoring systems.
Knowledge of networking.
Strong experience with colocation facilities.
Proven expertise in performance tuning.
Knowledge RDBMS systems and SQL.
Experience managing hundreds to thousands of servers.
A strong security background.
An understanding of storage systems.
Excellent problem solving skills.
