Job Responsibilities
As a software developer, on the Web Apps Team, you will use your Javascript, PHP and CSS knowledge to produce (and further) our business-class web applications; used by hundreds of thousands of customers every day. Youll join a high-energy team in producing impeccable software and applying some of the best engineering practices in the industry.
Requirements
BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
Several years of experience with Linux
Several years of experience with PHP
Several years of experience with Web 2.0 technologies (Javascript, AJAX, CSS, HTML, SOAP)
Several years of experience with a relational database (MySQL , MS-SQL, Sybase, Oracle)
A solid understanding of OOD (object oriented development)
A good understanding of standard algorithms
Experience optimizing systems for stability, scalability, and efficiency
Experience building small and large, multi-tiered, web-based applications is a PLUS
Successful Candidates will
Be familiar with good design (patterns, cohesion/coupling, S.O.L.I.D.)
Have experience with Agile engineering practices
Have an understanding of: AJAX, scalability, performance, unit testing, database indexes, security, and caching
Have a true passion for customers and users.
